The advantages of Martinique
Martinique shines for its many assets: its rich culture and history, its great biodiversity, its magnificent landscapes, its dream beaches and its unforgettable encounters.
carnaval

Culture, the art of encounters

Martinican culture is a unique blend of Creole, French, African and Indian traditions, resulting from its colonial history and diverse influences. An intense and plural cultural richness illustrated through the beauty of the Creole language, the 1001 flavors of the local cuisine, but also music, dance and unforgettable festivities like the carnaval de Martinique or the Tour des Yoles. The island's culture is an explosion of color and joy, reflecting the festive spirit and creativity of its inhabitants. Martinique's literature and art, carried by iconic figures such as Aimé Césaire, also bear witness to the depth and richness of this unique identity.

rhum

An AOC rum unique in the world

Martinican rums are made from freshly pressed sugar cane, unlike many other rums which use molasses (the residue from sugar production). The production method used for Martinique rums guarantees superior quality. The sugar canes are grown on mineral-rich volcanic soil, giving them a unique taste and incomparable quality. Martinique rums are also column-distilled, a technique that preserves the product's aromatic richness. This method produces rums that are lighter and more fragrant than traditional rums produced in stills.
